After missing it in the cinema, I finally got my hands on Up on blu-ray today. All I can say is wow, that was a beautiful film in both visuals and story. Disney are really knocking them out of the park at the moment.
Also another thing I liked is that the blu-ray comes with both a dvd and a digital copy from itunes, that’s a setup I wanna see more often.
Had an excellent night at the Picturehouse seeing Hot Chip and Casiokids. Have to say I was seriously impressed with the Casiokids, they way they switch instruments mid song reminded me of my painting style, very spur of the moment with a structure behind it. Hot Chip were immense, masters of their sonic science.
Later on I met a cute girl there, who seemed to like me, but regrettably I never asked for her number and didn’t see her after the crazy queue to get out.
